Final Bill Action: SENATE RESOLUTION 23, a resolution honoring the Iowa State
University of Science and Technology Extension for 100 years of service to Iowa.
Recommendation: DO PASS.
Final Vote: Ayes, 9: Iverson, Gronstal, Boettger, Courtney, Dvorsky, Gaskill, Putney,
Ragan, and Sievers. Nays, none. Absent, 2: Kramer and Drake.
Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.
CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION
(Regular Calendar)
Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
for consideration Senate Resolution 23.
Senate Resolution 23
On motion of Senator Iverson, Senate Resolution 23, a
resolution honoring the Iowa State University of Science and
Technology Extension for 100 years of service to Iowa, with report of
committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration.
Senator Iverson moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 23,
which motion prevailed by a voice vote.
LEAVES OF ABSENCE
Leaves of absence were granted as follows:
Senators Drake and Kramer, for the day, on request of Senator Iverson; Senator
McCoy, for the day, on request of Senator Gronstal; and Senator Brunkhorst, until he
returns, on request of Senator Iverson.
