The House met pursuant to adjournment at 8:51 a.m., Gipp of
Winneshiek in the chair.

Prayer was offered by the Honorable Mary Gaskill, state

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

House File 54, by Alons, Klemme, Manternach, Lalk, Huseman,
Boggess, Mertz, De Boef, Eichhorn, and Chambers, a bill for an act
relating to certification fees charged to commercial manure
applicators, and providing an effective date.

House File 55, by D. Olson, Bukta, Myers, Ford, Berry, Reasoner,
Murphy, Kuhn and McCarthy, a bill for an act making an
appropriation to the department of education for purposes of making
technology available to students of accredited nonpublic schools.

House File 56, by Wise, a bill for an act increasing the limitation
on compensation to a member of the board of directors of a school
corporation under certain circumstances.

reporters of child abuse under certain circumstances.

Davitt, a bill for an act requiring school districts and accredited
nonpublic schools to have media centers and specialists and an
elementary-secondary guidance program and providing for waivers.

Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 7), requiring motor vehicle
operators to take certain precautions when passing stationary utility maintenance
vehicles and making a penalty applicable.
