Schickel of Cerro Gordo asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw House Files 232 and 416 from further consideration by the
House.
HOUSE FILE 483 WITHDRAWN
Watts of Dallas asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw House File 483 from further consideration by the House.
House File 575, a bill for an act providing for offset of certain
billings to counties for mental health, mental retardation, and
developmental disabilities services and including an applicability
provision, was taken up for consideration.
Heaton of Henry offered the following amendment H-1129 filed by
him and moved its adoption:
H-1129
1 Amend House File 575 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 8, by inserting after the word
3 "services," the following: "the department has
4 followed the procedures in the department's
5 administrative rules for offset of county debts owed
6 to the department,".
7 2. Page 1, line 12, by inserting after the word
8 "billings" the following: "that is attributable to
9 mental health, mental retardation, and developmental
10 disabilities services".
Amendment H-1129 was adopted.
Heaton of Henry moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.
