HOUSE FILE 151 WITHDRAWN
Eichhorn of Hamilton asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw House File 151 from further consideration by the House.
House File 557, a bill for an act relating to liability of certain
health care facilities and health care providers participating in the
volunteer health care provider program, was taken up for
consideration.
Smith of Marshall offered the following amendment H-1069 filed
by him and moved its adoption:
H-1069
1 Amend House File 557 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, by striking lines 22 and 23 and
3 inserting the following: "examiners, the board of
4 nursing, and the board of chiropractic examiners, the
5 board of psychology examiners, the board of social
6 work examiners, the board of behavioral science
7 examiners, and the board of pharmacy examiners."
Amendment H-1069 was adopted.
RULE 31.8 SUSPENDED
Watts of Dallas asked and received unanimous consent to suspend
Rule 31.8, relating to the timely filing of amendments.
Watts of Dallas offered the following amendment H-1115 filed by
him from the floor and moved its adoption:
H-1115
1 Amend House File 557 as follows:
2 1. Page 3, line 5, by striking the word "primary"
3 and inserting the following: "sole".
Amendment H-1115 was adopted.
