Senate Resolution 169

The Senate resumed consideration of Senate Resolution 169, a
Senate resolution pledging that the Senate will not raise taxes in
order to balance the state budget for fiscal year 2004, previously
deferred.

Senator Shearer offered amendment S-5521, filed by him from the
floor to page 1 of the resolution, and moved its adoption.

A record roll call was requested.
