Senate Resolution 101

On motion of Senator Iverson, Senate Resolution 101, a Senate
resolution to amend Rules 27 and 60 of the rules of the Senate, was
taken up for consideration.

Senator Hansen asked and received unanimous consent that
action on Senate Resolution 101 be deferred.

The Senate stood at ease at 10:25 a.m. until the fall of the gavel.

The Senate resumed session at 10:40 a.m., President Kramer
presiding.

RECESS

On motion of Senator McKibben, the Senate recessed at
10:41 a.m. until the completion of a meeting of the committee on
Ways and Means.

RECONVENED

The Senate reconvened at 10:50 a.m., President Kramer presiding.

BUSINESS PENDING

Senate Resolution 101

The Senate resumed consideration of Senate Resolution 101, a
Senate resolution to amend Rules 27 and 60 of the rules of the
Senate, previously deferred.

Senator Hansen offered amendment S-5001, filed by him from the
floor to pages 1, 2, and to the title page of the resolution, and moved
its adoption.

Amendment S-5001 lost by a voice vote.

Senator Iverson moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 101,
which motion prevailed by a voice vote.
