chair.

QUORUM CALL

A non-record roll call was requested to determine that a quorum
was present. The vote revealed seventy-four members present,
twenty-six absent.

The House resumed consideration of House File 2615.

Mascher of Johnson offered the following amendment H-8504 filed
by her from the floor and moved its adoption:

H-8504

1 Amend House File 2615 as follows:
2 1. Page 3, line 20, by striking the figure
3 "5,000,000" and inserting the following: "9,345,394".

Roll call was requested by Mascher of Johnson and Murphy of
Dubuque.

Rule 75 was invoked.

On the question "Shall amendment H-8504 be adopted?" (H.F.
2615)
