EXPLANATION OF VOTE

I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on March 18,
2002. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on Senate Files
2210 and 2156.

The Chief Clerk of the House submitted the following report:

Mr. Speaker: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports that the following

BILLS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR

A communication was received from the Governor announcing that
on March 15, 2002, he approved and transmitted to the Secretary of
State the following bill:

House File 2395, an act relating to child support including provisions relating to
medical support and the calculation of the child support amount relative to receipt of
federal social security benefits, providing an effective date, and providing for
retroactive applicability.
