House File 2430, a bill for an act providing for the mental health
and developmental disabilities commission to assume the duties of
the state-county management committee and provides new
rulemaking authority associated with those duties, with report of
committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration.

Carroll of Poweshiek offered the following amendment H-8238
filed by him and moved its adoption:
