7 The general assembly of the state of Iowa
8 recognizes that English is the common language used in
9 Iowa and recognizes that fluency in English is
10 necessary for full integration into the American
11 culture."
12 2. Title page, by striking lines 1 and 2 and
13 inserting the following: "An Act affirming that
14 English is Iowa's common language."
