CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (Regular Calendar) Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up for immediate consideration Senate Resolution 52. Senate Resolution 52 On motion of Senator Gaskill, Senate Resolution 52, a Senate resolution urging the Iowa congressional delegation to support and work to implement the renewal of the trade promotion authority of the President of the United States, was taken up for consideration. Senator Kibbie offered amendment S-3711, filed by him from the floor to page 2 of the resolution. President Pro Tempore McKean took the chair at 3:36 p.m. Senator Kibbie moved the adoption of amendment S-3711. A record roll call was requested. On the question "Shall amendment S-3711 be adopted?"
