  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration Senate File 541.

  Senate File 541

  On motion of Senator Lamberti, Senate File 541, a bill for an act
  relating to the compensation and benefits for public officials and
  employees, providing for related matters, and making appropriations,
  was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Lamberti offered amendment S-3635, filed by him on
  May 3, 2001, to pages 3-5, 12, and 13 of the bill, and moved its
  adoption.
