HOUSE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED Senate File 140 Senator Deluhery called up for consideration Senate File 140, a bill for an act updating the Iowa Code references to the Internal Revenue Code, increasing the minimum filing income requirement for dependents, lowering the threshold amount for making estimated payments for corporations and financial institutions, increasing the estimated tax payment standard for assessing a penalty for corporations and financial institutions, and providing retroactive applicability dates and an effective date, amended by the House, and moved that the Senate concur in House amendment S-3611, filed May 2, 2001. The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Senate concurred in the House amendment.
