  MADAM PRESIDENT:  The Secretary of the Senate respectfully reports that the

  BILLS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR

  A communication was received announcing that on April 16, 2001,
  the Governor approved and transmitted to the Secretary of State the
  following bills:

  S.F. 94 - Creating a new criminal offense of escape from custody by a
  sexually
  violent predator civilly committed to confinement and providing a penalty.

  S.F. 102 - Relating to charitable gift annuities, by providing for notice
  and filing
  requirements and providing for penalties.

  INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

  Senate File 524, by committee on Appropriations, a bill for an act
  providing assistance regarding the development of grapes and wine.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on Appropriations
  calendar.

  Senate File 525, by committee on Appropriations, a bill for an act
  appropriating federal funds made available from federal block grants
  and other federal grants, allocating portions of federal block grants,
  and providing procedures if federal funds are more or less than
  anticipated or if federal block grants are more or less than
  anticipated.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on Appropriations
  calendar.
