The House met pursuant to adjournment at 9:22 a.m., Foege of
Linn in the chair.
Prayer was offered by the Honorable Ro Foege, state
representative from Linn County.
The Journal of Thursday, April 5, 2001 was approved.
EXPLANATION OF VOTE
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on April 5, 2001.
Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on House Files 653, 654
and 687.
