Senate File 521, a bill for an act establishing a new economy
employment initiative by providing for a partial deduction under the
individual income tax for the capital gain from the sale or exchange of
capital stock of a corporation which was acquired by an individual on
account of employment with the corporation, limiting the fiscal
impact of the partial deductions, and including an effective and
retroactive applicability date provision, was taken up for
consideration.

Warnstadt of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw amendment H-1831 filed by him on May 1, 2001.

Kreiman of Davis asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw amendment H-1864 filed by him on May 1, 2001.

Hansen of Pottawattamie in the chair at 2:12 p.m.

Speaker Siegrist in the chair at 2:16 p.m.

Sukup of Franklin moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.
