1 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. By striking everything after the enacting
1 4 clause and inserting the following:
1 5 "Section 1. There is appropriated from the general
1 6 fund of the state to the designated entities for the
1 7 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June
1 8 30, 2002, the following amounts to be used for the
1 9 purposes designated:
1 10 1. To the department of human services for use in
1 11 the HAWK-I program:
1 12 .................................................. $ 1,707,951
1 13 2. To the Iowa department of public health for
1 14 childhood immunizations:
1 15 .................................................. $ 160,618
1 16 3. To the Iowa department of public health for
1 17 child and adolescent wellness:
1 18 .................................................. $ 167,918
1 19 4. To the Iowa department of public health for
1 20 community capacity:
1 21 .................................................. $ 182,520
1 22 5. To the department of workforce development for
1 23 rural workforce development offices:
1 24 .................................................. $ 780,000
1 25 The appropriations made in this section are in
1 26 addition to appropriations made in other Acts for the
1 27 designated purposes.
1 28 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE PROVISION. This Act takes
1 29 effect only if the revenue estimating conference
1 30 estimates that, as a result of the enactment of
1 31 federal income tax legislation prior to January 1,
1 32 2002, Iowa income tax receipts for the fiscal year
1 33 beginning July 1, 2001, will be increased by $7.9
1 34 million or more over the amount of Iowa income tax
1 35 receipts which would have been realized in the absence
1 36 of the enactment of such federal income tax
1 37 legislation."
1 38 #2. Title page, by striking lines 1 through 7, and
1 39 inserting the following: "An Act making
1 40 appropriations to the departments of human services,
1 41 workforce development, and public health and including
1 42 a contingent effective date provision."
