Leave of absence was granted as follows:
Shoultz of Black Hawk on request of Myers of Johnson.
Houser of Pottawattamie offered the following amendment H-1766
filed by Houser, et al., and moved its adoption:
H-1766
1 Amend House File 714 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 16, by inserting after the word
3 "counseling;" the following: "parent and early
4 childhood education;".
5 2. Page 3, by inserting after line 5 the
6 following:
7 "f. The area is designated as a community
8 empowerment area in accordance with chapter 28."
9 3. Page 3, by inserting after line 24 the
10 following:
11 "(4) A community empowerment area board created in
12 accordance with chapter 28."
13 4. Page 3, line 28, by inserting after the word
14 "institution." the following: "This subparagraph
15 shall not be interpreted to prevent a community
16 empowerment area board from being considered a
17 qualifying organization."
18 5. Page 7, line 10, by inserting after the word
19 "authority" the following: "with notification given
20 to the community empowerment board".
