House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such
committee Huser of Polk, Connors of Polk and Jacobs of Polk.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 3
Cormack of Webster offered the following House Memorial
Resolution 3 and moved its adoption:
HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 3
Whereas, The Honorable D. Vincent Mayberry, of
Webster County, Iowa, who was a member of the Sixty-first,
Sixty-second, Sixty-third and Sixty-fourth general assem-
blies, passed away October 2, 2000; Now Therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such
committee Cormack of Webster, Eddie of Buena Vista and Mertz of
Kossuth.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 4
Atteberry of Delaware offered the following House Memorial
Resolution 4 and moved its adoption:
HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 4
Whereas, The Honorable Harold C. McCormick, of
Delaware County, Iowa, who was a member of the Sixty-
third, Sixty-fourth and Sixty-fifth general assemblies,
passed away August 17, 2000; Now Therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such
committee Atteberry of Delaware, Horbach of Tama and Falck of
Fayette.
