The House met pursuant to adjournment at 8:46 a.m., Speaker
Siegrist in the chair.
Prayer was offered by Reverend Roger Schlaefer, the retired pastor
of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waukee. He is currently serving as a
visiting pastor at First Evangelical Lutheran, Des Moines. He was
the guest of Representative Jodi Tymeson of Madison County.
The Journal of Wednesday, March 14, 2001 was approved.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 617, by committee on agriculture, a bill for an act
relating to farm deer and providing for an effective date.
Read first time and placed on the calendar.
House File 618, by committee on natural resources, a bill for an
act relating to the daily catch and possession limits for crappies and
subjecting violators to an existing penalty.
Read first time and placed on the calendar.
House File 619, by committee on agriculture, a bill for an act
relating to the growing and processing of grapes, creating a state
commission, establishing a fund for certain tax receipts, and
providing an appropriation.
Read first time and referred to committee on ways and means.
House File 620, by Cohoon, a bill for an act relating to the
confidentiality of information contained in records relating to
weapons and pistol or revolver permits for special state agents
involved in narcotics investigations.
