1 Amend Senate File 267, as amended, passed, and
2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
3 1. Page 4, by inserting before line 17 the
4 following:
5 "___. To the department of public safety for
6 expenditures necessary to ensure that state troopers
7 are not furloughed or laid off and so that current
8 drug interdiction activities and other safety efforts
9 are maintained; for funding used to provide an
10 education to students at Iowa's community colleges;
11 for funding necessary to maintain home health care for
12 elderly Iowans and Iowans with a disability so that
13 these Iowans can continue to receive the same level of
14 service in their homes and are not forced into nursing
