1 Amend House File 355 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 11, by striking the figure "4"
3 and inserting the following: "3".
4 2. Page 1, line 15, by striking the word and
5 figures ", 3, and 4" and inserting the following:
6 "and 3".
7 3. Page 2, line 7, by inserting after the word
8 "session." the following: "The department may approve
9 a request for an innovative school year in which
10 classes commence prior to the earliest starting date
11 established in subsection 1."
12 4. Page 2, by striking lines 24 through 31 and
13 inserting the following:
14 "Sec. . Section 279.10, subsection 4, Code
15 2001, is amended by striking the subsection."
16 5. By renumbering as necessary.

Amendment H-1080 was adopted.

Dolecheck of Ringgold moved that the bill be read a last time now
and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was
read a last time.
