  1  3 and inserting the following:  "3".
  1  4    #2.  Page 1, line 15, by striking the word and
  1  5 figures ", 3, and 4" and inserting the following:
  1  6 "and 3".
  1  7    #3.  Page 2, line 7, by inserting after the word
  1  8 "session." the following:  "The department may approve
  1  9 a request for an innovative school year in which
  1 10 classes commence prior to the earliest starting date
  1 11 established in subsection 1."
  1 12    #4.  Page 2, by striking lines 24 through 31 and
  1 13 inserting the following:
  1 14    "Sec.    .  Section 279.10, subsection 4, Code
  1 15 2001, is amended by striking the subsection."
  1 16    #5.  By renumbering as necessary.
