The House met pursuant to adjournment at 1:00 p.m., Speaker
Siegrist in the chair.
Prayer was offered by Reverend Wayne Bahr, pastor of the Church
of Christ, Mondamin.
The Journal of Friday, February 23, 2001 was approved.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Luc and Noah Schneck. They
were the guests of the Honorable Speaker pro tempore Sukup of
Franklin County.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 400, by committee on commerce and regulation, a bill
for an act relating to the regulation of real estate appraisers.
Read first time and placed on the calendar.
House File 401, by committee on commerce and regulation, a bill
for an act relating to charitable gift annuities, by providing for notice
and filing requirements and providing for penalties.
Read first time and placed on the calendar.
House File 402, by committee on judiciary, a bill for an act
eliminating filing and service fees for plaintiffs seeking relief from
domestic abuse.
Read first time and placed on the calendar.
House File 403, by committee on state government, a bill for an
act relating to the office of secretary of state and the conduct of
