COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS

Committee Bill, relating to state budgetary matters by providing for reductions
and supplementation of appropriations made for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000,
and transferring, crediting, and appropriating certain moneys, and providing an
effective date.

Fiscal Note is not required.

Recommended Amend and Do Pass February 21, 2001.

Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 165), making an appropriation and
establishing a teacher compensation reform and student achievement savings account
fund.

Fiscal Note is not required.

Recommended Do Pass February 21, 2001.

COMMITTEE ON COMMERCE AND REGULATION

Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 113), relating to the regulation of real
estate appraisers.

Fiscal Note is not required.

Recommended Do Pass February 22, 2001.

Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 114), relating to charitable gift
annuities, by providing for notice and filing requirements and providing for penalties.

Fiscal Note is not required.

Recommended Do Pass February 22, 2001.

Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 151), relating to allocation and
payment of expenses arising from performance of duties by the Iowa utilities board and
the consumer advocate, and providing an effective date.
