1 within ten minutes after the vote has been announced,
2 providing the vote does not change the outcome of the
3 vote on that question. A member may request
4 announcement of the names of members so recorded after
5 the ten-minute period.
6 2. Members meeting in a conference committee or in
7 administrative rules review committee at the time a
8 vote is taken on a question may have their vote
9 recorded within thirty minutes or adjournment,
10 whichever is first of that same legislative day,
11 providing the vote does not change the outcome of the
12 vote on that question.
13 Rule 75
14 Duty of Voting
15 Except as limited in Rule 74, every member who is
16 in the house when a question is put shall vote unless
17 the house has excused that member for special reasons;
18 however, such member must have asked to be excused
19 prior to commencing to take the vote on the main
20 question.

22 Limitation on Right to Vote
23 No member shall vote on any question in which that
24 person is financially interested.
25 Rule 77
26 Call of the House
27 Upon written request of five members, the presiding
28 officer shall compel attendance of absent and
29 unexcused members for the consideration of specified
30 bills or resolutions.

1 A call of the house shall specify the propositions
2 to which it is to apply, and must be put into effect
3 before roll call is taken on the proposition. The
4 request may be filed at any time before final action
5 upon the propositions with the chief clerk, who shall
6 notify the house immediately.
7 Rule 78
8 Method of Calling the House
9 Upon a call of the house, the names of the members
10 shall be called by the chief clerk and the absentees
11 noted, after which the names of the absentees shall
12 again be called. The sergeant-at-arms shall be
13 directed by the speaker to compel the attendance of
14 absent members, unless they are previously excused.
15 Any member occupying the member's seat during a call
16 of the house shall be counted by the speaker and that
17 person's name entered in the journal as being present
