The House met pursuant to adjournment at 8:47 a.m., Speaker
Siegrist in the chair.
Prayer was offered by the Honorable Jane Greimann, state
representative from Story County.
The Journal of Monday, January 29, 2001 was approved.
RULE 57 SUSPENDED
Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent to
suspend Rule 57, relating to committee notice and agenda, for the
committee meetings scheduled for Monday, January 29, 2001, to meet
today.
CONSIDERATION OF BILL
Appropriations Calendar
House File 108, a bill for an act providing supplemental funding
for the low-income home energy assistance program for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2000, and providing an effective date, was taken up
for consideration.
SENATE FILE 65 SUBSTITUTED FOR HOUSE FILE 108
Alons of Sioux asked and received unanimous consent to substitute
Senate File 65 for House File 108.
Senate File 65, a bill for an act providing supplemental funding
for the low-income home energy assistance program for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2000, and providing an effective date, was taken up
for consideration.
The House stood at ease at 9:04 a.m., until the fall of the gavel.
