Senate Study Bill 1185

  1  1    Section 1.  Section 669.13, unnumbered paragraph 3, Code
  1  2 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    This section is the only statute of limitations applicable
  1  4 to claims as defined in this chapter.  However, the tolling
  1  5 provisions of section 614.8 shall apply to this chapter.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill extends the statute of limitations in state tort
  1  8 claims actions asserted on behalf of minors and persons with
  1  9 mental illness.
