  1  4 RELATING TO MEMBERSHIP IN AN INTERSTATE WILDLIFE VIOLATORS
  1  5    COMPACT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  8 
  1  9    Section 1.  Section 456A.24, Code 2001, is amended by
  1 10 adding the following new subsection:
  1 11    NEW SUBSECTION.  14.  Enter into an interstate wildlife
  1 12 violators compact with one or more states to enforce state
  1 13 laws and rules relating to the protection and conservation of
  1 14 wildlife subject to the requirements of section 28E.9.  The
  1 15 commission may adopt rules as necessary for the implementation
  1 16 of the compact.
