  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5437, to Senate File 2293,
  1  2 as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 53, line 49, and inserting after the
  1  4 figure "2003." the following:  "However, on and after
  1  5 the enactment of this Act, until March 1, 2003, the
  1  6 department shall provide for an interim assessment of
  1  7 the annual compliance fee in the same manner as
  1  8 provided in section 455B.203C, as enacted in this Act,
  1  9 which shall be deposited in the assessment account of
  1 10 the animal agriculture compliance fund as provided in
  1 11 section 455B.127, as enacted in this Act."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
