1 1 Amend Senate File 2327 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 99D.14, subsection 2,
1 5 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 2001, is amended to read
1 6 as follows:
1 7 A licensee shall also pay to the commission the sum
1 8 of fifty cents for each person entering the grounds or
1 9 enclosure of the licensee upon a ticket of admission.
1 10 However, the admission fee imposed in this subsection
1 11 shall not apply to a licensee of a horse racetrack
1 12 enclosure.
1 13 Sec. . Section 99F.4A, subsection 4, Code 2001,
1 14 is amended to read as follows:
1 15 4. The fee imposed in section 99D.14, subsection
1 16 2, shall be collected for admission to a racetrack
1 17 enclosure where gambling games are licensed to operate
1 18 in lieu of the admission fee imposed in section
1 19 99F.10. However, the admission fee imposed in section
1 20 99F.10 shall not apply to a licensee of a horse
1 21 racetrack enclosure."
