  1  1    Amend House File 2430 as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 12, by inserting after line 30, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  RESIDENT ADVOCATE COMMITTEES – REPORT.
  1  6 The mental health and developmental disabilities
  1  7 commission in consultation with the state long-term
  1  8 care resident's advocate and the governor's
  1  9 developmental disabilities council shall submit a
  1 10 report to the general assembly by January 1, 2003,
  1 11 regarding the continuation of resident advocate
  1 12 committees for residential care facilities licensed to
  1 13 serve persons with mental illness or mental
  1 14 retardation."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
