  1  1    Amend Senate File 2304 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 9, line 19, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "period." the following:  "However, the state board of
  1  4 regents and the institutions governed by the state
  1  5 board of regents may use either a furlough plan or
  1  6 alternative means to implement the regents' portion of
  1  7 the appropriation reduction required by this section."
  1  8    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
