1 6 STATE AID TO SCHOOLS
1 7 FUND TRANSFERS
1 8 Sec. 100. SCHOOL AID. After applying the
1 9 reduction made pursuant to executive order number 24
1 10 to the appropriation for the following designated
1 11 purpose, there is appropriated from the general fund
1 12 of the state for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
1 13 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, the sum of the amounts
1 14 transferred to the general fund of the state pursuant
1 15 to sections 101 and 103 of this division of this Act,
1 16 or so much thereof as is necessary, to supplement the
1 17 appropriation for foundation aid and supplementary aid
1 18 in section 257.16.
1 19 Sec. 101. REBUILD IOWA INFRASTRUCTURE FUND –
1 20 TRANSFER TO GENERAL FUND. Notwithstanding section
1 21 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph "e", a sum equal to the
1 22 amount transferred to the rebuild Iowa infrastructure
1 23 fund pursuant to section 102 of this division of this
1 24 Act shall be transferred to the general fund of the
1 25 state from the rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund for
1 26 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending
1 27 June 30, 2002.
1 28 Sec. 102. VISION IOWA FUND – TRANSFER TO REBUILD
1 29 IOWA INFRASTRUCTURE FUND. Notwithstanding sections
1 30 12.71 through 12.77, sections 15F.101 through 15F.106,
1 31 sections 15F.301 through 15F.304, or any other
1 32 provision of law to the contrary, moneys in the vision
1 33 Iowa fund that are unencumbered, unobligated, or not
1 34 otherwise committed for a project approved for funding
1 35 by the vision Iowa board on the effective date of this
1 36 Act, shall be transferred to the rebuild Iowa
1 37 infrastructure fund. Moneys transferred to the
1 38 rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund pursuant to this
1 39 section shall be used for infrastructure projects
1 40 related to recreation, education, entertainment, and
1 41 cultural activities.
1 42 Sec. 103. UNENCUMBERED OR UNOBLIGATED MONEYS IN
1 43 REBUILD IOWA INFRASTRUCTURE FUND – TRANSFER TO
1 44 GENERAL FUND. Notwithstanding section 8.57,
1 45 subsection 5, or any other provision of law to the
1 46 contrary, moneys in the rebuild Iowa infrastructure
1 47 fund that are unencumbered or unobligated at the end
1 48 of the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending
1 49 June 30, 2002, not to exceed four million dollars,
1 50 shall be transferred to the general fund of the
2 1 state."
