  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-3306, to House File 637, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  By striking page 1, line 3 through page 2,
  1  5 line 11.
  1  6    #2.  Page 2, by inserting after line 14 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "#___.  Page 7, by inserting after line 15 the
  1  9 following:
  1 10    "___.  The commission of libraries shall adopt
  1 11 rules providing for the coordination of appointments
  1 12 made to the board of trustees in accordance with this
  1 13 section.""
  1 14    #3.  Page 3, by inserting after line 12 the
  1 15 following:
  1 16    "#___.  Page 16, by striking lines 12 through 18
  1 17 and inserting the following:
  1 18    "Sec.    .  REGIONAL LIBRARY TERM EXPIRATION DATE.
  1 19 Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, the
  1 20 terms of the regional library trustees elected in a
  1 21 general election shall expire on July 1, 2001.""
  1 22    #4.  By renumbering as necessary.
