  1  1    Amend Senate File 528 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 1, the
  1  3 following:  
  1  4             "MOTOR VEHICLE USE TAX REVENUES
  1  5    Sec.    .  Section 423.24, Code 2001, is amended by
  1  6 adding the following new subsection:
  1  7    NEW SUBSECTION.  2A.  Prior to the depositing and
  1  8 crediting of revenues derived from the use tax on
  1  9 motor vehicles, trailers, and motor vehicle
  1 10 accessories and equipment as collected pursuant to
  1 11 sections 423.7 and 423.7A in the manner described in
  1 12 subsections 1 and 2, sixteen million four hundred
  1 13 thousand dollars of the revenues shall be deposited
  1 14 and credited annually to the general fund of the
  1 15 state."
  1 16    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
