  1  1    Amend Senate File 527 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 18, by striking the figure
  1  3 "113,792,166" and inserting the following:
  1  4 "113,520,551".
  1  5    #2.  Page 1, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "For the juvenile victim restitution program:  
  1  8 .................................................. $    210,291
  1  9    For compensation of judicial hospitalization
  1 10 referees:  
  1 11 .................................................. $    589,053"
  1 12    #3.  Page 4, by inserting after line 10 the
  1 13 following:
  1 14    "Sec.    .  Section 602.1304, subsection 2,
  1 15 paragraph a, Code 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1 16    a.  The enhanced court collections fund is created
  1 17 in the state treasury under the authority of the
  1 18 supreme court.  The fund shall be separate from the
  1 19 general fund of the state and the balance in the fund
  1 20 shall not be considered part of the balance of the
  1 21 general fund of the state.  Notwithstanding section
  1 22 8.33, moneys in the fund shall not revert to the
  1 23 general fund, unless and to the extent the total
  1 24 amount of moneys deposited into the fund in a fiscal
  1 25 year would exceed the maximum annual deposit amount
  1 26 established for the collections fund by the general
  1 27 assembly.  The initial maximum annual deposit amount
  1 28 for a fiscal year is four three million four hundred
  1 29 seventy-two thousand dollars.  Notwithstanding section
  1 30 12C.7, subsection 2, interest or earnings on moneys in
  1 31 the collections fund shall remain in the collections
  1 32 fund and any interest and earnings shall be in
  1 33 addition to the maximum annual deposit amount."
