1 1 Amend Senate File 447 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 23, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "A person who has been issued an intermediate
1 5 license and whose intermediate license is suspended,
1 6 revoked, or barred under this chapter or chapter 321J
1 7 may be issued a temporary restricted license for
1 8 travel to and from work upon application to the
1 9 department, under conditions provided by the
1 10 department. However, notwithstanding any provision of
1 11 this section or this chapter to the contrary, a person
1 12 issued such a temporary restricted license who is
1 13 convicted of a moving traffic violation or is involved
1 14 in a contributive accident that occurred while the
1 15 person was operating a motor vehicle pursuant to the
1 16 temporary restricted license shall not be issued a
1 17 full driver's license until the person reaches
1 18 nineteen years of age."
