1 3 A Resolution to amend the rules governing lobbyists
1 4 in the House of Representatives.
1 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES,
1 6 That the rules governing lobbyists for the Seventy-
1 7 ninth General Assembly shall be amended by adding the
1 8 following rule:
1 9 19. LOBBYING DECLARATIONS. The following form
1 10 shall be used for lobbying declarations under these
1 11 rules:
1 12 IOWA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
1 13 LOBBYING DECLARATION
1 14 To be filed with the Chief Clerk of the House
1 15 NAME(S) DATE ________
1 16
1 17 If two or more lobbyists are associated together or
1 18 consistently work together in all their lobbying, and
1 19 if all of the bills and resolutions lobbied are the
1 20 same, one lobbying declaration form may be submitted.
1 21 List only House Files, House Study Bills, House
1 22 Resolutions, House Concurrent Resolutions, and House
1 23 Joint Resolutions which you are currently lobbying.
1 24 Only declare once on a bill or resolution unless
1 25 there is a change in position.
1 26 For all declaration position changes use lower
1 27 portion of this form.
1 28 Circle HF (House File), HSB (House Study Bill), HR
1 29 (House Resolution), HCR (House Concurrent Resolution),
1 30 or HJR (House Joint Resolution), and enter the bill or
2 1 resolution number
2 2 Circle F (For), A (Against), U (Undecided)
2 3 Lobbyists representing more than one client must
2 4 list on whose behalf the bill or resolution is being
2 5 lobbied.
