  1  3 TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF A VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL
  1  4    TUITION GRANT.

  1  6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  7 
  1  8    Section 1.  Section 261.17, subsection 4, paragraph a, Code
  1  9 Supplement 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1 10    a.  The amount of a vocational-technical tuition grant to a
  1 11 qualified full-time student shall not exceed the lesser of six
  1 12 one thousand two hundred fifty dollars per year or the amount
  1 13 of the student's established financial need.
