1 1 Section 1. Section 483A.24, subsection 2, Code 2001, is
1 2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
1 3 NEW PARAGRAPH. e. Upon application not later than the day
1 4 before the commencement of the season for which the license is
1 5 valid, an owner who is otherwise qualified and who held a free
1 6 deer hunting license or free wild turkey hunting license
1 7 pursuant to this subsection during the preceding calendar year
1 8 shall be issued a new free deer hunting license or a new free
1 9 wild turkey hunting license.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill provides that upon application not later than the
1 12 day before the commencement of the season for which the
1 13 license is valid, an owner who is otherwise qualified and who
1 14 held a free deer hunting license or free wild turkey hunting
1 15 license during the preceding calendar year shall be issued a
1 16 new free deer hunting license or a new free wild turkey
1 17 hunting license.
