PAG LIN 1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8243, to House File 2555 as 1 2 follows: 1 3 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 28 through 39 and 1 4 inserting the following: "subparagraph (2) which1 5containscontaining a detectable amount of cocaine 1 6 base. 1 7 Sec. ___. Section 124.401, subsection 1, paragraph 1 8 a, Code 2001, is amended by adding the following new 1 9 subparagraph: 1 10 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH. (3A) More than five hundred 1 11 grams of any compound, mixture, preparation, or 1 12 substance containing a detectable amount of any of the 1 13 following: 1 14 (a) Coca leaves, except coca leaves and extracts 1 15 of coca leaves from which cocaine, ecgonine, and 1 16 derivatives of ecgonine or their salts have been 1 17 removed. 1 18 (b) Cocaine, its salts, optical and geometric 1 19 isomers, and salts of isomers. 1 20 (c) Ecgonine, its derivatives, their salts, 1 21 isomers, and salts of isomers." 1 22 #2. By striking page 1, line 49, through page 2, 1 23 line 9 and inserting the following: "containing a 1 24 detectable amount of cocaine base. 1 25 Sec. ___. Section 124.401, subsection 1, paragraph 1 26 b, Code 2001, is amended by adding the following new 1 27 subparagraph: 1 28 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH. (3A) More than fifty grams but 1 29 not more than five hundred grams of any compound, 1 30 mixture, preparation, or substance containing a 1 31 detectable amount of any of the following: 1 32 (a) Coca leaves, except coca leaves and extracts 1 33 of coca leaves from which cocaine, ecgonine, and 1 34 derivatives of ecgonine or their salts have been 1 35 removed. 1 36 (b) Cocaine, its salts, optical and geometric 1 37 isomers, and salts of isomers. 1 38 (c) Ecgonine, its derivatives, their salts, 1 39 isomers, and salts of isomers." 1 40 #3. Page 2, by striking lines 20 through 30 and 1 41 inserting the following: "(2) which contains1 42 containing a detectable amount of cocaine base. 1 43 Sec. ___. Section 124.401, subsection 1, paragraph 1 44 c, Code 2001, is amended by adding the following new 1 45 subparagraph: 1 46 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH. (3A) Fifty grams or less of any 1 47 compound, mixture, preparation, or substance 1 48 containing a detectable amount of any of the 1 49 following: 1 50 (a) Coca leaves, except coca leaves and extracts 2 1 of coca leaves from which cocaine, ecgonine, and 2 2 derivatives of ecgonine or their salts have been 2 3 removed. 2 4 (b) Cocaine, its salts, optical and geometric 2 5 isomers, and salts of isomers. 2 6 (c) Ecgonine, its derivatives, their salts, 2 7 isomers, and salts of isomers." 2 8 #4. Page 2, line 34, by striking the words and 2 9 figures "subparagraphs (1) and (2)" and inserting the 2 10 following: "subparagraph (2)". 2 11 #5. Page 2, line 35, by striking the word "are" 2 12 and inserting the following: "is". 2 13 #6. Page 2, by striking lines 36 through 43. 2 14 #7. Page 2, line 48, by striking the figure "(3)" 2 15 and inserting the following: "(3A)". 2 16 #8. Page 2, line 49, by striking the figure "(3)" 2 17 and inserting the following: "(3A)". 2 18 #9.
