  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1764, to House File 740 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by striking lines 24 through 40, and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "g.  The department shall not apply a geographic
  1  6 wage index adjustment in determining the modified
  1  7 price-based case-mix reimbursement rate for nursing
  1  8 facilities."
  1  9    #2.  Page 5, by striking lines 12 through 14, and
  1 10 inserting the following:  "indices as published by
  1 11 HCFA each July."
