  1  1    Amend Senate File 528, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 1, the
  1  4 following:  
  1  5             "MOTOR VEHICLE USE TAX REVENUES
  1  6    Sec.    .  Section 423.24, Code 2001, is amended by
  1  7 adding the following new subsection:
  1  8    NEW SUBSECTION.  2A.  Prior to the depositing and
  1  9 crediting of revenues derived from the use tax on
  1 10 motor vehicles, trailers, and motor vehicle
  1 11 accessories and equipment as collected pursuant to
  1 12 sections 423.7 and 423.7A in the manner described in
  1 13 subsections 1 and 2, sixteen million four hundred
  1 14 thousand dollars of the revenues shall be deposited
  1 15 and credited annually to the general fund of the
  1 16 state."
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
