  1  1    Amend House Resolution 11 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking page 22, line 29, through page 23,
  1  3 line 2, and inserting the following:  
  1  4                        "Rule 42
  1  5         Certification and Engrossment of Bills
  1  6    The chief clerk shall certify the passage of each
  1  7 bill and note the date of its passage.
  1  8    In engrossing a bill, the chief clerk shall correct
  1  9 all obvious typographical, spelling, or other clerical
  1 10 errors and change section subunit numbers and letters
  1 11 and internal references as required to conform the
  1 12 original bill to any amendments which have been
  1 13 adopted.  The chief clerk shall report all such
  1 14 corrections or changes in the journal.  The engrossed
  1 15 bill shall be placed in the bill file with the
  1 16 original bill and amendments."
