  1  1    Amend Senate File 63, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 19 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 726.6, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  6 f, Code 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    f.  Abandons the child or minor to fend for the
  1  8 child or minor's self, knowing that the child or minor
  1  9 is unable to do so.  This paragraph is only applicable
  1 10 to a person who is the parent, guardian, or person
  1 11 having custody of the child or minor."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
