  AFTERNOON SESSION

  The Senate reconvened at 2:25 p.m., Senator Szymoniak presiding.

  QUORUM CALL

  Senator Boettger requested a non-record roll call to determine that
  a quorum was present.

  The vote revealed 40 present, 10 absent, and a quorum present.

  CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION
  (Regular Calendar)

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration House Concurrent Resolution 109.

  House Concurrent Resolution 109

  On motion of Senator Iverson, House Concurrent Resolution 109, a
  concurrent resolution requesting that the Governor annually
  designate the week in June beginning with Father's Day, as prostate
  cancer awareness week, with report of committee recommending
  passage, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Iverson moved the adoption of House Concurrent
  Resolution 109, which motion prevailed by a voice vote.

  Senator Kramer took the chair at 2:31 p.m.

  CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION

  Senate Resolution 124

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  the following resolution:

  4    WHEREAS, Senator Szymoniak is retiring from
