  House File 2198

  On motion of Senator Gaskill, House File 2198, a bill for an act
  directing the department of education to conduct a feasibility study of
  reorganization and sharing incentives for school districts, with report
  of committee recommending amendment and passage, placed on the
  Unfinished Business Calendar on March 23, 2000, was taken up for
  consideration.

  Senator Redfern offered amendment S-5135, filed by the
  committee on Education on March 13, 2000, to page 1 of the bill.

  Senator Gaskill asked and received unanimous consent that action
  on amendment S-5135 and House File 2198 be deferred.

  UNFINISHED BUSINESS

  House File 2148

  On motion of Senator Jensen, House File 2148, a bill for an act
  prohibiting the use of a telephone listing that misrepresents the
  name and location of a business and making penalties applicable,
  with report of committee recommending passage, placed on the
  Unfinished Business Calendar on March 23, 2000, was taken up for
  consideration.
