  The Chair welcomed the following visitors who were present in the
  Senate gallery:

  High school students from Odebolt-Arthur Community Schools, accompanied by
  teachers and parents.  Senator King.

  MADAM PRESIDENT:  I was necessarily absent from the Senate Chamber on

  Senator Dvorsky, from residents of Johnson County, favoring
  legislation earmarking monetary help for schools throughout the
  state to be used to hire new teachers and improve the condition of the
