Fallon of Polk offered the following amendment H-8988, to amend-
ment H-8977, filed by him from the floor and moved its adoption:

1 Amend the amendment, H-8977, to Senate File 2447,
2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
3 follows:
4 1. Page 1, line 14, by striking the words
5 "neighborhoods conducive to".
6 2. Page 1, line 35, by striking the words
7 "neighborhoods conducive to".

Amendment H-8988 was adopted.

Fallon of Polk moved the adoption of amendment H-8977, as
amended.

A non-record roll call was requested.

The ayes were 38, nays 49.

Amendment H-8977, as amended, lost.
